 Jump On is pleased to announce that it has signed NewLeaf Travel Company – Canada’s new ultra-low-cost air travel company – as the first partner for its unique bidding platform. Bids on potentially unsold seats may be submitted on any of NewLeaf’s launch destinations at gojumpon.com.

 

“Our bidding platform was developed to allow ‘Jumpers’, or flexible travellers, to bid on potentially unsold airline seats,” says Roger Jewett, CEO, Jump On Flyaways. “Filling up these empty seats provides a win/win/win for flexible travellers, air travel partners and the environment.”

 

“Our job is to help NewLeaf fill any unsold seats so they can maximize bookings and revenue. We receive bids during the flight booking period and present them to NewLeaf, who may accept high bids at their discretion. We have also created BidIntel™ to help bidders submit bids with the best chance of being accepted,” adds Jewett.

Here’s how Jump On’s Bidding Platform works:

-Jump On will accumulate bids from Jumpers on NewLeaf’s eleven routes.

-All reasonable bids will be presented to NewLeaf for their consideration.

-NewLeaf may accept bids at any time, but no later than 48 hours prior to a flight’s departure.

-If a bid is accepted, the Jumper’s credit card is charged and a ticket is issued by NewLeaf 48 hours prior to departure.
