Calgary, Alberta – “Over the past few years, we have earned a reputation for creating municipal websites that dare-to-be-different,” explains Catherine Proulx, Twist Marketing’s Managing Director.  The latest municipalities to benefit from Twist Marketing’s expertise are the Town of Gibson (BC) and Northern Sunrise County (AB).  The agency has also been award a new website assignment from the Town of Strathmore (AB).

“We have developed a meticulous research process whereby we help municipalities discover their unique attributes.  We then convert that information into a visually pleasing and easy-to-use online format that actively engages the municipality’s key target audiences such as residents, businesses and visitors.  The bottom line is that we want all users to be engaged and enjoy their online experience so that they come back again and again.”

For the Town of Gibsons (gibsons.ca), a picturesque BC coastal town known for its natural beauty as well as its artists, entrepreneurs and fishermen, Twist Marketing created a website that reflects these attributes and more. The website also serves the day-to-day needs of visitors, residents, businesses and government.  As an example, residents and businesses can easily navigate the website to access local information, regulations and receive prompt answers to their questions.

The natural, picturesque, pristine and rugged countryside are part of the attraction of Northern Sunrise County, (northernsunrise.net) located northwest of Edmonton and a short drive south to Peace River.  The county is a strong and vibrant community that has successfully blended its western culture with its industrial and agricultural economy. The new website reflects all of these unique attributes. It also provides residents, businesses, visitors and other stakeholders with relevant and up-to-date community based content at their fingertips.
